  • Average salaries in the New Zealand legal industry saw a rise of 4.7%
  • 56% of firms remain worried about their ability to attract staff in the coming year
  • 47% of firms are ready to boost remuneration packages by up to 10% to attract external talent, 14% are prepared to offer increases of up to 20%
  • Law firms are increasingly offering additional flexibility and mentoring opportunities to keep their current talent
  • Fewer firms are poised to negotiate salary raises above the Consumer Price Index for 2024.
